We take homes on a lease, pay their owners an agreed rent every month for the term, and house local authority placements and private individuals in them. Throughout, we act in our own name: we are the owner's tenant and the occupiers' provider, and we carry the responsibilities that come with both.
The model suits owners who would rather have a known income and one point of responsibility than manage a sequence of tenancies themselves. It also lets us look after the homes we hold consistently — the same standards for repairs, preparation and handover, whichever property it is.
